Amazing Bingo

The goal of Amazing Bingo is to be the first to complete a winning pattern on your card by marking off the numbers as they are called.

Each Bingo card is a 5x5 grid of numbers under the letters B-I-N-G-O. The column under B contains numbers from 1 to 15, I from 16 to 30, N from 31 to 45, G from 46 to 60, and O from 61 to 75. The center square is a FREE space — it's automatically marked for you from the start.

Numbers are drawn one at a time, for example "B-7" or "G-52". When a called number appears on your card, tap or click it to mark (or "daub") it. Pay attention — the numbers keep coming, and you don't want to miss any!

Want a bigger challenge? Play with more than one card at the same time and keep your eyes moving. More cards means more chances to win — but also more numbers to watch!

Complete a winning pattern — a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal line, four corners, or even a full card (blackout) — and you win. BINGO!

There's no complicated strategy to memorize, which makes Bingo the perfect game to relax with. Just stay focused, mark your numbers quickly, and let luck do the rest.

Bingo has a surprisingly long and colorful history that stretches back almost 500 years. The game's earliest ancestor was an Italian lottery called "Lo Giuoco del Lotto d'Italia", which began around 1530 and is still played in Italy every week to this day. In the 18th century, the game traveled to France, where it became known as "Le Lotto" — a game played by the French aristocracy using playing cards, tokens, and numbers read aloud.

The modern version of the game was born in America. In the late 1920s, a carnival game called "Beano" was popular at county fairs — players marked numbers on their cards with dried beans and shouted "Beano!" when they completed a line. In 1929, a New York toy salesman named Edwin S. Lowe saw the game at a carnival in Georgia. According to legend, during one of Lowe's games at home, an excited player got tongue-tied and accidentally shouted "Bingo!" instead of "Beano" — and the name stuck.

Lowe hired Carl Leffler, a mathematics professor at Columbia University, to create thousands of unique Bingo cards with non-repeating number combinations. By 1930, Leffler had created 6,000 different cards — and, as the story goes, the effort drove the poor professor to lose his mind!

Bingo quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Churches and charities across America adopted it for fundraising events in the 1930s, and by the 1940s Bingo games were being played all over the country. Today, Bingo is enjoyed by millions of players around the world — in halls, at family game nights, and of course online.
